Our friend Shannae from What Women Want recently visited Fashionably Yours and scored the most gorgeous Herve Leger tube bandage dress and a pair of brand new Christian Louboutin Rolande Patent Sling Back Pumps for her 2nd annual “Literary Journey” signature WWW event. This beautiful dress is from the Herve Leger 2009 collection and together with the Louboutin shoes would have cost her well over $2000 retail. Shannae was lucky enough to find her size and took home this perfect outfit for a fraction of the cost!!

You might remember Shannae from her video footage of her 1st visit to FY when we opened in March 2009. Last week was Toronto Fashion Week 2009 and Fashionably Yours was asked to do a fashion show with our favourite boys from Kleen Media. Since we’re not just a regular store, we didn’t want to do a regular fashion show. Instead we decided to do a Live Photoshoot, so everyone can witness the fabulous styling of FY owner and celebrity stylist, Janet Han aka GetJanet. If you missed it, not to worry….we have these exclusive photos for you.

It’s been exactly a month since Fashionably Yours opened its doors to the public and we already have over 100 consignors, fabulous men and women, including stylists, fashion editors, doctors, event producers, students, etc….

One of our favourite consignors is Joan Petraglia from Styled Closets. She recently wrote an informative Style Post about Fashionably Yours (below).

Joan brought in some amazing items including several L.A.M.B. items and some clothes from some of her clients, including a beautiful CHANEL vintage spring dress to die for! Joan is a certified Wardrobe & Image Consultant who specializes in teaching you how to make the most of the clothes you already own & how to re-invent them. FY loves Joan because she also advises her clients when to let clothes go, woooohooo!! That’s where we come in, helping you “clean out your closets and fill you pockets”.

Joan’s services include Closet Organization, Colour Analysis, Figure & Personality Analysis, and Wardrobe Planning & Budgeting.
